Dean Keates has no fresh injury worries before Walsall’s clash with Wimbledon

Walsall manager Dean Keates has no new injury concerns ahead of his side’s game with Wimbledon.

Top scorer Erhun Oztumer will be pushing for a recall after dropping to the bench for the midweek draw at Oldham.

Oztumer has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season but has failed to find the target in his last five appearances.

Joe Edwards is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury suffered against Blackburn at the end of February.

Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley will consider whether to take a calculated gamble on striker Joe Pigott.

Pigott returned from a two-game absence due to concussion to play 70 minutes against former club Charlton on Tuesday, but Ardley is unsure whether he can play two games in five days.

Defender Will Nightingale could be ruled out for the rest of the season with the ankle injury sustained against the Addicks.

Nightingale will undergo a scan when the swelling subsides sufficiently, with Darius Charles set to continue in his place after coming on as a substitute in midweek.
