Speaking ahead of the Saturday’s Manchester derby, City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has admitted that he spoke to United manager Jose Mourinho just twice during his time at Chelsea.
The Belgian made just three appearances for Chelsea whilst spending a season on loan at Werder Bremen before he was eventually sold by the Blues to Wolfsburg for just £18m.

The same summer in which De Bruyne returned from on loan at Bremen, Mourinho arrived at Stamford Bridge for his second stint in charge of the club.
The pair spent just six months together before the 26-year-old was shipped back off to the Bundesliga in January of 2013.
De Bruyne has admitted that he did not share a very good relationship with the now Man United boss, with the relationship being the reasoning behind his departure.
De Bruyne said:
"I’m not somebody who speaks a lot with coaches. I think if the coach wants to speak with you then you just do it.
"He’s the boss. You can be good with each other but still there’s a distance between a coach and a player.
"I only spoke with him twice. That was (firstly) when I wanted to leave for Dortmund at the beginning of the summer.
"And then at the second meeting I just said: ‘for me it’s better to go. I want to play football’.”
