The France international has struggled in his second season at Old Trafford and had a public falling out with boss Jose Mourinho.

Pogba, who scored a stunning free-kick for France against Russia on Tuesday, regularly shares videos of his antics on social media.

But former Manchester United captain Bryan Robson believes the £89m man needs to focus on his profession and leave the japery aside.

"He's on there (social media) a lot and he's laughing and joking," Robson told Off the Ball Football Show.

"He likes to be in that limelight, coming across that he's a laid back character and he's jovial and he wants a bit of banter with the fans.

"For me though, it's a little bit too much. You need to win.

"It's not a game, so that's where somebody like myself, Roy Keane and Graeme Souness, those sorts of people, a Gary Neville when he's commentating, we understood that.

"This isn't a game, this is our living and we need to win and I think Paul’s got to get that a bit more into his character. This is a job."

Robson has also had his say on where Pogba is best utilised - with the former Juventus star being deployed in a two and three man midfield.

"We’ve had the best out of him when Jose has played a solid 4-3-3, with [Nemanja] Matic sitting and then Pogba being allowed to do what he wants to do," Robson added.

"I don’t think it works with a two with Paul. I think he gets more freedom if you’re playing a three in there.”
