Swindon midfielder Ollie Banks could return in Friday’s League Two clash with Morecambe after sitting out for almost five weeks through suspension.
Banks was handed a three-match ban after being sent off in a 2-1 league defeat at Chesterfield on February 24, but postponements have extended his time on the sidelines.
Goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook could also be involved after returning to training from a hand injury which has kept him out since the same game.
Olly Lancashire is out with an ankle problem and fellow defender Ryan McGivern is rated at only 50-50 as he attempts to shake off a troublesome neck injury.
Morecambe boss Jim Bentley will head for the County Ground defending a four-game unbeaten run which has helped to lift the club seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Defender Steven Old and midfielder Kevin Ellison returned from knee and hamstring injuries respectively for last Saturday’s 0-0 home draw with promotion-chasing Lincoln.
They were were included in two of four changes to the side which had drawn 0-0 with Colchester four days earlier as the injured Luke Conlan, as well as Garry Thompson, Gregg Wylde and Adam McGurk, made way.
Thompson, Wylde and McGurk were all used as substitutes against the Imps and will hope to force their way back into the team.
