The portrait that won Messi's art campaign

Sanil Chitrakar was proclaimed the winner of Lionel Messi's art campaign, which had the aim of securing financial assistance for the construction of a new block at the Barcelona Paediatric Cancer Centre.

The 35-year-old Nepalese drew a portrait of the Argentina international, one which received the approval of more than 25,000 people in social media.

His work, under the title 'Leo to Russia 2018', will be signed by the Blaugrana forward and donated to the Sant Joan de Deu Hospital to raise funds for the construction works.
