Exeter City saw off Port Vale in League Two winning the fixture 1-0 at Vale Park.
The visitors took the lead in the first half when Jordan Storey poked the ball in at 23 minutes from a Ryan Harley cross.
Port Vale had the majority of the chances but failed to take advantage and find a goal to level up the score.
The Home side responded well straight after Exeter Scored with a long range effort from Tyrone Barnett that just flew wide.
Shortly after on 29 minutes Exeter goalkeeper Christy Pym tipped a Tyrone Barnett header over the bar.
Exeter’s Taylor headed off the line to keep City ahead after Barnett’s header looked destined for the corner.
Vale kept looking for a goal to bring them level in the second half with David Worrall creating a number of chances including a 69th minute cross shot that was tipped over the bar by Pym who pulled off an excellent save to deny Tyrone Barnett’s header and then Luke Hannant’s powerful follow up.
