St Mirren march on with victory over Queen of the South

St Mirren took another step towards the Ladbrokes Premiership with a 3-1 win at Queen of the South.
Goals from Daniel Mullen, Lewis Morgan and Kyle Magennis helped move the Buddies 12 points clear of second-placed Livingston.
The visitors took the lead when Mullen latched on to Morgan’s pass to slot home his first St Mirren goal, but Jordan Marshall quickly levelled after exchanging passes with John Rankin.
Morgan restored St Mirren’s lead seven minutes into the second half when Morgan curled in a free-kick from the edge of the box.
And the leaders secured a third straight win when Magennis ran through to make it 3-1 in the 64th minute.
