Barnsley midfielder Joe Williams is an injury doubt for the home game against Millwall.
Everton loanee Williams, withdrawn late on in the midweek draw against Norwich, is struggling with a back problem and will be assessed.
Boss Jose Morais is expected to rotate his squad again after making five changes in both the Reds’ last two matches.
Morais has no other new injury or suspension worries but central defender Matt Mills remains sidelined after missing the last five matches due to an ankle injury.
Millwall are boosted by the return to contention of Aiden O’Brien, who has been out since January.
O’Brien returned to action for the under-23s earlier in the week following his recovery from ankle ligament damage and could be included in the squad.
Boss Neil Harris has no new selection concerns as his in-form side bid to extend their unbeaten league run to eight matches.
Defender Byron Webster, sidelined since October with knee ligament damage, remains the Lions’ only absentee.
