John White will be missing for Chris Powell’s Southend for their SkyBet League One clash against Doncaster.
The defender has been sidelined with an ankle injury since the beginning of February, but could return for his side’s trip to Blackpool next weekend.
Anthony Wordsworth and Michael Kightly will both be pushing for a place in Powell’s starting line-up after returning to the bench last weekend.
Ted Smith and Rob Kiernan are still out.
Doncaster are set to be boosted by the return of defender Mathieu Baudry.
Baudry has been out with a hamstring injury since January but could feature for the visitors.
Forward Andy Williams is also in contention for the first time in nearly four months following an ankle problem.
Andy Butler (knee), Tom Anderson (fractured cheekbone) and Issam Ben Khemis (knee) remain unavailable.
