Defender Bolton ruled out for Walsall clash

League One promotion contenders Shrewsbury are without defender James Bolton for Saturday’s derby clash with Walsall.
The 23-year-old is still troubled by the ankle injury that forced him to miss Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy semi-final win over Yeovil but hopes to return next week.
The postponement of last weekend’s clash with Peterborough has allowed defender Max Lowe time to overcome a slight hamstring problem.
Lowe was an unused substitute as the Shrews booked a place at Wembley with a 1-0 victory in midweek.
Walsall boss Jon Whitney, who was heckled by fans after his side’s midweek loss to Rochdale, could changes for the trip to Montgomery Waters Meadow.
Whitney suggested the team needed to “freshen up” after the 3-0 defeat by struggling Dale.
On-loan defender Jack Fitzwater could come back into the starting line-up after recovering from a back injury but remaining as an unused substitute on Tuesday.
Midfielder Joe Edwards is out for the rest of the season after suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage.
