Bradford pair Alex Jones and Omari Patrick could return to the squad for the home game against MK Dons after long-term injuries.
Jones, who was sidelined for four months after ankle surgery, and fellow forward Patrick – ruled out for six weeks due to a knee injury – came through unscathed this week after appearing for the reserves.
Striker Charlie Wyke starts a three-game ban and misses manager Simon Grayson’s first home game in charge of the Bantams.
Midfielder Jake Reeves (groin) and Australian defender Ryan McGowan (knee) are both still unavailable.
MK Dons midfielder Peter Pawlett is expected to return to contention after missing the last five games due to a groin injury.
Nigel Reo-Coker is hoping to feature after joining last week on a short-term basis, but it remains to be seen if he is fully match fit.
Osman Sow has had a full week’s training after recovering from injury and is likely to resume on the bench, but on-loan Middlesbrough winger Marcus Tavernier remains doubtful.
Midfielder Alex Gilbey (knee), plus defenders Joe Walsh (knee) and Scott Golbourne (hip) remain long-term absentees.
