Meeting held in Barcelona to wrap up Arthur's signing
Posted Tuesday, March 06, 2018 by Marca.com
Barcelona don't have any midweek fixtures in this week's diary, but they did have an important meeting pencilled in for this Monday.
Representatives from Gremio were in the Catalan capital to meet with Blaugrana directors in order to finalise the transfer of Arthur Melo, who is set to move to the Camp Nou in January of 2019 to the tune of 30 million euros, with a further 10m euros of add-ons.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Gremio general director Carlos Amodeo, club lawyer Gabriel Vieira and the player's agent Jorge Machado were among the party travelling from Brazil.
CEO Oscar Grau and general manager Pep Segura were expected to be on the Barcelona side of the table.
Arthur, meanwhile, remains in Brazil recovering from an ankle injury which has kept him sidelined since November.
