Swindon vs Yeovil Town - Swindon begin life without David Flitcroft against Yeovil

Caretaker Swindon boss Matt Taylor will take charge for the first time as the Robins host Yeovil on Saturday.

Taylor was handed the reins on a temporary basis on Thursday following David Flitcroft’s resignation, along with that of his assistant Ben Futcher, to take over at League Two rivals Mansfield.

Midfielder Ollie Banks is suspended following his sending-off in last weekend’s 2-1 defeat at Chesterfield.

Skipper Olly Lancashire returned from an ankle injury in that game and was joined by striker Kellan Gordon after he completed a three-match ban, but midfielder Amine Linganzi is likely to miss out once again with a thigh problem.

Yeovil manager Darren Way will hope the postponement of the club’s midweek Checkatrade Trophy clash with Shrewsbury will have given his injured troops time to recover.

James Bailey, Dan Alfei, Nathan Smith, Artur Krysiak (all knee) and Jake Gray and Marcus Barnes (both ankle) would have missed out, and Way will keep his fingers crossed for good news.

Striker Francois Zoko is available once again after completing a two-match ban for reaching 10 bookings for the campaign.

The Glovers have lost their last two league games but sit eight points clear of the drop zone with 12 matches to play.
