Cambridge have been handed a major boost, with four players available following injury for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Luton.
Defender Leon Legge (shoulder) and midfielder Piero Mingoia (groin) have returned to training and are in contention to feature.
The U’s, who have Joe Dunne as interim head coach, also have George Maris and Jabo Ibehre available after both went through return to play protocols following concussion.
Striker Barry Corr is nearing a return after an injury sustained against Grimsby.
Luton have Dan Potts available following suspension.
Potts has completed a two-match ban and comes into contention, which may mean a positional switch for James Justin.
Elliot Lee, who has been absent with a shoulder problem, has returned to training and could also feature.
Hatters’ top scorer Danny Hylton returned as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with Cheltenham and could start.
