Marc McNulty is spot on for Coventry

Marc McNulty’s late penalty was enough to give Coventry their first win in five league games and boost their play-off hopes at promotion-chasing Wycombe.
The Sky Blues will not care about the scrappy nature of the victory as they moved within three points of League Two’s top seven, but it is back-to-back home defeats for the Chairboys.
The match did not do much to warm anyone up in the early stages, with Coventry’s Tom Bayliss sending a swerving long-range effort wide after 17 minutes.
Neither goalkeeper was required much during a timid first half, although Lee Burge did have to be alert to stop Adebayo Akinfenwa’s header from looping over him.
Burge then just about managed to stop Nathan Tyson’s shot on the turn early in the second half before McNulty had a good chance from Kyel Reid’s cut-back deflected wide.
Coventry’s big opportunity came after 82 minutes when Bayliss was brought down in the area by Adam El-Abd and McNulty made no mistake, as he slammed his penalty past Scott Brown.
