Leicester City vs Stoke City - Wes Morgan in frame for Leicester return
Posted Saturday, February 24, 2018 by PA
Leicester skipper Wes Morgan could make his first Premier League appearance since New Year’s Day against Stoke on Saturday after suffering no ill-effects on his return from injury.
The 34-year-old, who captained the Foxes to their shock title victory two
seasons ago, lined up against Sheffield United in the FA Cup fifth round last
Friday evening to signal the end of his lay-off with a hamstring problem.
Shinji Okazaki will resume full training next week after three weeks on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Peter Crouch remains sidelined, while 18-year-old fellow striker Tyrese Campbell may be involved.
Crouch sat out the 1-1 draw with Brighton last time out due to an ankle
infection and Potters boss Paul Lambert is considering bringing Campbell into
the matchday squad.
Bruno Martins Indi is set to be part of the 18 after missing the last three
games, while Stephen Ireland (calf) is still unavailable.
