Duo miss out as Cambridge take on Notts County

Cambridge will be without Barry Corr and George Maris for their home game against Notts County.

Corr suffered an injury during the win against Grimsby on Saturday and the striker is back on the sidelines, having also sat out the victory at Chesterfield last week.

Forward Maris will miss out due to head injury protocol after being involved in a clash of heads on Saturday.

Some good news for interim boss Joe Dunne saw Jabo Ibehre, Leon Legge and Piero Mingoia all resume full training on Monday.

Shaun Brisley could come back into the Notts County squad. The defender has recently been missing due to a bout of illness but he has now returned to training.

However, Brisley may have to settle for a place on the bench as 21-year-old Ben Hall, on loan from Brighton, has impressed in his absence.

Midfielder Michael O’Connor has joined in training again as he continues his recovery from the serious knee injury he suffered last April.

On-loan forward Mason Bennett is back at Derby after undergoing a hamstring operation that will end his campaign.
