Liverpool boss Klopp ready to make Alisson £62M record keeper signing

Liverpool are ready to make a world record offer for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Sky Sports says Liverpool are ready to splash £62m, what would be a new world record for a goalkeeper, to bring in the Brazil international this summer.

Roma have been trying to tie the 25-year-old down to a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico, with the club set to be inundated with offers when the transfer window opens.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain could pose a threat to Liverpool's bid, however, with both understood to be interested.

Klopp broke Liverpool's transfer record with the £75m acquisition of Virgil van Dijk last month.
