Rochdale vs Tottenham Hotspur - Calvin Andrew blow for Rochdale for Spurs clash

Rochdale are set to be without experienced striker Calvin Andrew for their blockbuster FA Cup fifth-round clash with Tottenham on Sunday.

The 31-year-old’s Achilles problem is worse than first thought and he is struggling to put any weight on his foot.

Competition for places will be fierce for the plum fixture, with Dale having put aside their League One struggles to reach the last 16 for only the third time in the club’s history.

Niall Canavan (ankle) and Keith Keane (groin) remain long-term absentees.

Tottenham forward Harry Kane could be absent.

Kane, who has scored 33 goals this season for Spurs, is struggling with an
ankle issue and will be assessed by the north London club on Saturday.

Elsewhere, manager Mauricio Pochettino has no other injury complaints, with
defender Toby Alderweireld – who did not travel to Juventus earlier this week –
declared fit and available.
