Swindon are likely to be without Matt Preston for the visit of Port Vale.
The defender was missing for Tuesday’s defeat to Wycombe and will undergo a scan on a knee injury on Friday, with boss David Flitcroft fearful he could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
It means Olly Lancashire may be required again despite an ankle issue that could need a pre-match injection.
Midfielder Kellan Gordon completes a three-match ban, while Dion Conroy (knee), Donal McDermott (hernia) and Chris Hussey (groin) are out but Amine Linganzi (hamstring) may return.
Port Vale could have Luke Hannant available for the trip despite a foot problem.
Manager Neil Aspin revealed the winger stands a chance to feature having conceded he would not have played on Tuesday, when Vale’s proposed contest with Exeter was postponed.
Defender Anthony Kay will begin his two-match ban having accrued 10 yellow cards this term.
Kjell Knops (knee) and Adam Yates (facial injury) are still sidelined.
