Notts County wait on Mason Bennett for Carlisle clash

Notts County will check on the fitness of Mason Bennett ahead of their home game against Carlisle.
The on-loan striker came off with an injury after only 22 minutes of the defeat to Barnet on Saturday.
It was hoped that the versatile Elliott Hewitt would be fit enough to return from a bout of illness at The Hive, so he could be back in contention on Tuesday night.
Magpies manager Kevin Nolan ripped into his team after the defeat to Barnet, calling the performance unacceptable, and he may make changes for the visit of Keith Curle’s side.
Carlisle boss Curle has reported no new injury or suspension concerns as he prepares to face his former club.
Skipper Danny Grainger missed Saturday’s home draw against Colchester and it remains to be seen if he returns to contention.
Tom Parkes will continue at left-back if Grainger is ruled out again, with Gary Liddle set to continue as captain in central defence alongside Clint Hill.
Reggie Lambe, Richie Bennett and John O’Sullivan are pushing for recalls after stepping off the bench at the weekend.
