Stephen Henderson remains sidelined as Portsmouth host Blackburn

Portsmouth are looking to build on Saturday’s comeback victory over MK Dons and revive their push for the play-offs as they host high-flying Blackburn on Tuesday evening.
Pompey remain without goalkeeper Stephen Henderson after he suffered a thigh injury against Doncaster earlier this month and could miss the rest of the season so Luke McGee will again start between the sticks.
Defender Christian Burgess returns to contention following a one-match ban for his sending off in that draw with Rovers, while midfielder Adam May was named among the substitutes on Saturday after completing his own ban and hopes to feature.
Defender Jack Whatmough handed manager Kenny Jackett a boost last week as he played the first half of a reserves match against Leicester after five months on the sidelines with a serious knee problem and is pushing for a recall.
Darragh Lenihan will be part of Blackburn’s travelling party.
The defender has been out of action since August with a foot injury but came through a recent under-23 game unscathed.
Boss Tony Mowbray reported no fresh injury issues following the weekend draw with Oldham.
Neither Marcus Antonsson (ankle) or Ben Gladwin (knee) were ready to be involved against Latics but both are back in training.
