Plymouth duo could return against AFC Wimbledon

Plymouth duo Simon Church and Kyle Letheren are pressing for starts in Tuesday night’s League One match at home to AFC Wimbledon.
New striker Church will be available again despite lasting just half an hour of last week’s reserves clash with Cheltenham. The 30-year-old was an unused substitute during Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Shrewsbury and hopes to be involved.
Goalkeeper Letheren was also named on the bench at the weekend as he continues his comeback from a thigh injury and is pressing to make Derek Adams’ starting line-up.
On-loan West Ham midfielder Moses Makasi is still eyeing his debut, while Adams has no suspension worries to contend with as his side look to build on a 12-match league run which features just one defeat.
AFC Wimbledon will be boosted by the impending return of Will Nightingale following his spell on the sidelines.
Nightingale has been out of action for six weeks with a knee issue, but has returned to light training.
AFC Wimbeldon’s trip to to Plymouth will however, come too soon for the 22-year-old defender.
Elsewhere, Kwesi Appiah remains sidelined with a hamstring complaint.
