Charlie Mulgrew set for Rovers return

Charlie Mulgrew may be back in the Blackburn fold for Oldham’s visit to Ewood Park.
The Scotland international (ankle) has returned to training having missed Rovers’ previous two games.
Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray also confirmed Marcus Antonsson (ankle) and Ben Gladwin (knee) are back training so they are not far off coming back either, though this weekend may be too soon.
Defender Darragh Lenihan (foot) is set to feature for the under-23s on Friday while Harry Chapman (hamstring) is back doing light training.
Oldham could hand a debut to Jonathan Benteke following his signing this week.
The striker, brother of Crystal Palace’s Christian, is awaiting international clearance after a successful trial and, if that is granted, could be included in the Latics’ squad.
Richie Wellens might be tempted to stick with the same side that ended a nine-match winless run in the league by beating Bradford last time out.
Striker Eoin Doyle (blood clot) is definitely out, while a hamstring problem is likely to keep Rob Hunt sidelined.
