Cameron Burgess set to return to Scunthorpe squad for Rotherham test

Scunthorpe defender Cameron Burgess returns to contention for his side’s home game against Rotherham.
Burgess missed last week’s win at Fleetwood due to a one-game ban and may have to wait for his return should boss Graham Alexander stick with a winning line-up.
Defender Marnick Vermijl, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday, made his debut last week, while centre-half Rory McArdle and goalkeeper Matt Gilks also returned as Alexander switched from a 3-5-2 to 4-4-2.
Midfielder Luke Williams is hoping to return to the squad after missing out so far this season through injury, but Kyle Wootton, Jordan Clarke (both hamstring) and Jonathon Margetts (knee) are still out.
Rotherham midfielder Richie Towell could return to the starting line-up after missing last week’s home win against AFC Wimbledon due to a knee injury.
Boss Paul Warne has no new injury or suspension worries as his side bid to extend their unbeaten league run to 11 matches.
Midfielder Matt Palmer, a recent permanent signing from Brighton, made his full debut last week, while on-loan striker Caolan Lavery is hoping for his first start after stepping off the bench.
Striker Michael Smith will play with a specially fitted mask to protect his nose, which took a bang last week and forced him off due to the bleeding.
