David Amoo could return for Cambridge against Lincoln

Cambridge could have winger David Amoo back from a hamstring problem for the Sky Bet League Two clash against Lincoln.

Forward Jabo Ibehre, though, remains unavailable as he recovers from a concussion.

Veteran striker Barry Corr will be in contention after penning a contract extension through to the end of the season.

Midfielder Piero Mingoia has resumed training after his groin problem, while defender Leon Legge (shoulder) is also continuing rehabilitation work.

Lincoln boss Danny Cowley will assess how his players have recovered both physically and mentally from Tuesday night before naming his team.

The Imps reached the final of the Checkatrade Trophy this week with a penalty shoot-out win against Chelsea Under-21s and must play a second game in four days, after a request to have the match moved to Saturday was rejected by the Football League.

On-loan forward Tom Pett comes back into contention having been ineligible for the semi-final victory.

Cowley must decide whether penalty hero Ryan Allsop keeps his place in goal ahead of Paul Farman.
