Bradford set for triple boost ahead of Bury clash

Bradford could be boosted by the return of Nicky Law, Paul Taylor and Alex Gilliead for their home game against Bury.

Midfielder Law has recovered from illness, while striker Taylor (muscle strain) and winger Gilliead (hamstring) are expected to be in contention.

The Bantams are bidding to halt a five-game losing run in League One, which led to the sacking of manager Stuart McCall this week.

Left-back Tyrell Robinson remains doubtful and midfielder Jake Reeves is still struggling with a long-standing groin/pelvic problem.

Ryan Lowe could stick with the same team that beat AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday to continue Bury’s resurgence.

Young striker George Miller was rewarded for his superb start to life on loan at Gigg Lane from Middlesbrough with his first start and responded with a third goal in as many games.

The Shakers remain in deep trouble but seven points from their last three games has fuelled hopes of a miracle recovery.

Craig Jones (thigh), Jermaine Beckford (knee) and Eoghan O’Connell (ruptured ligaments) are all set to remain sidelined.
