Ajax ace Justin Kluivert is being eyed by Man Utd
The winger is the son of Barcelona legend Patrick and was an unused substitute in last year’s Europa League final defeat against United.
Mourinho has known Kluivert since he was a child, from when his father used to bring him to the Nou Camp, where the Portuguese worked as a coach.
The former Chelsea boss has tracked the 18-year-old’s development as a player and comforted him in the wake of the defeat in Stockholm last May.
And according to the Mirror, United are in advanced talks with Ajax about a transfer to bring Kluivert to Old Trafford.
The deal is thought to be worth an initial £10m, with various performance-related add-ons.
Kluivert has been in stunning form during his second season in the first team, scoring six times so far as they sit second in the Eredivisie.
And he’ll undoubtedly relish the chance to compete for a place on the flanks with Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

Sanchez bagged his first goal for United yesterday as they beat Huddersfield to close the gap on runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City to 13 points.
Mourinho’s men are back in action next Sunday as they travel to Newcastle.
