Henry Jones came off the bench to net a late equaliser for AFC Fylde in a 2-2 draw with Eastleigh at Mill Farm.
The visitors forged in front midway through the first half when Ryan Broom judged and controlled a long ball from Andrew Boyce to perfection and placed a clinical shot past Jay Lynch.
Zaine Francis-Angol headed in a deserved equaliser for Fylde in the 64th minute following a cross by Jones.
Broom restored Eastleigh’s lead three minutes later after getting on the end of a fine passing move by the Spitfires and chipping over Lynch.
But it was a fitting conclusion to a tremendous battle that another substitute, James Hardy, crossed for Jones to flick in a leveller for Fylde with five minutes left.
