Marco Matias boost for Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday forward Marco Matias is expected to return to the squad for the home game against Birmingham.
Matias’ latest injury, a thigh problem, kept him out of the goalless midweek draw at Middlesbrough, but he returned to full training this week and should be in contention.
Midfielder Barry Bannan (hip) and goalkeeper Keiren Westwood have both had setbacks in their respective bids to return from injury and have been ruled out.
Defenders Tom Lees (groin) and Joost van Aken (hamstring) hope to be back in full training next week, but Gary Hooper, Sam Hutchinson, Steven Fletcher and Fernando Forestieri are still out.
Birmingham will check on midfield duo Jacques Maghoma and David Davis.
Both players were forced off during the midweek win over Sunderland, Maghoma with a groin problem and Davis a thigh injury.
Jota and Craig Gardner are options should Blues boss Steve Cotterill be forced into changing a winning side.
Forward Isaac Vassell (knee) is a long-term absentee.
