FORMER Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 28, finally completed his long-awaited move to Arsene Wenger’s side yesterday.

The deal was part of a merry-go-round saga, which saw Olivier Giroud move to London rivals Chelsea and Michy Batshuayi depart overseas to struggling Bundesliga giants Dortmund.

But Arsenal finally got their man, alongside the signature of former Manchester United star Henrikh Mkhitaryan the previous week.

The 29-year-old Armenian international joined 6th place Arsenal as part of a swap-deal for the departing Alexis Sanchez.

But sixth-placed Arsenal fans do not seem disheartened by the loss of their Chilean superstar.

In fact, they are more excited about former team-mates Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan being reunited.

One bloke has even taken matters further to express his happiness.

In a video recorded to the theme tune Sugar, Sugar by The Archies, a fan produces his own hilarious version of the viral Coutinho chant created by Kevin Murphy.

He sings: “We sold Sanchez… but that doesn’t matter.

"We have Aubameyang, and Mkhitaryan.”

The clip was shared on Facebook page Sportbible – but viewers were quick to jump on the back of Arsenal fans.

One comment read: “Why are Arsenal fans like this? Think you should all be banned from the internet.”

And another simply stated: “Nowhere near as good as the Liverpool one.”

A third also added: “Can other fans not at least show a little creativity and not try to steal a song from Liverpool fans?”

Arsenal face Everton in the Premier League this Saturday, and Tottenham, the following week in the north London derby.

The Gunners will need to improve on recent away form if they wish to avoid any embarrassment against Spurs.

So far this season, they have only managed three wins from 13 Premier League games away from the Emirates.
