Peterhead close gap on leaders Montrose

Peterhead closed to within a point of Ladbrokes League Two leaders Montrose with a 3-2 win at Berwick.
The visitors took a 15th-minute lead when David McCracken headed home Willie Gibson’s floated corner.
The score was 2-0 four minutes before the break when Rory McAllister converted from the spot after Steven Thomson brought down Nicky Riley.
But Jack Hamilton gave Rangers hope two minutes later when he fired home to cut the lead in half.
And Berwick were level seven minutes into the second half after Gary Phillips picked out Ouzy See and he made no mistake.
Jack Leitch won it in the 71st minute, though, scoring from close range after connecting with McAllister’s cross.
