Huddersfield Town vs Liverpool - Huddersfield ahead of Liverpool clash
Posted Tuesday, January 30, 2018 by PA
Huddersfield midfielder Danny Williams is an injury doubt for his side’s home Premier League game against Liverpool.
Williams was forced out of Saturday’s FA Cup stalemate against Birmingham with a dead leg and will be assessed, but centre-half Terence Kongolo is expected to overcome a knock.
Head coach David Wagner is likely to recall the likes of Aaron Mooy, Alex Pritchard, Christopher Schindler and Jonas Lossl, who did not feature at the weekend.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson could be in line for his first start in over a month.
Henderson played half an hour in Saturday’s FA Cup defeat to West Brom after four weeks out with a hamstring problem and comes into contention for a place in the starting XI.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to field the same squad as defender Ragnar Klavan and midfielder Adam Lallana have not recovered from muscle injuries – meaning there is unlikely to be a place for striker Daniel Sturridge.
