He looks to be delighted at the switch as he wasted no time in sharing the images of him relaxing with his family and beloved furry companions.
And he has wasted no time in trying to score some points with dog lovers in the red side of town.
Sanchez could make his debut for United on Friday in the FA Cup clash at minnows Yeovil.
However, Jose Mourinho may opt to save his new man for a return to North London.
The Red Devils travel to Wembley to take on Tottenham - bitter foes of Sanchez's old employers Arsenal - for a bumper Premier League showdown.
