Fit-again Wintle among options to replace Cooper in Crewe midfield

Crewe boss David Artell is forced into making at least one change to his team for the visit of Wycombe.
George Cooper was sold to Peterborough this week so the likes of Ryan Wintle, fit again after a broken leg, Harry Pickering, Charlie Kirk and Josh Lundstram are options to fill the void in midfield.
George Ray got another 70 minutes under his belt on Monday as he continues his comeback from a fractured back. The defender could return to first-team contention for the first time since April after a couple more outings for the Under-23 side.
Perry Ng continues to serve a four-match suspension after accepting a violent conduct charge.
Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth has a number of injury problems but could welcome back Adam El-Abd and Nick Freeman.
Defender El-Abd, who has played just once since mid-December, will be given a late fitness test on a calf issue, while midfielder Freeman may return
after he missed last weekend’s win over Colchester because of a leg problem.
Defenders Sido Jombati (knee), Anthony Stewart (calf) and Will De Havilland (hamstring) remain sidelined for the Chairboys.
Michael Harriman (broken leg) is a long-term absentee.
