Michael Smith set for first Millers start

New signing Michael Smith could be handed a first start for Rotherham as they attempt to boost their League One play-off hopes against Portsmouth.
Striker Smith, who joined the Millers from Bury last week, was used as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw at Oldham last weekend, but will look to force his way into manager Paul Warne’s plans for former club Pompey’s visit to the AESSEAL New York Stadium.
Warne named an unchanged team for the trip to SportsDirect.com Park, where Jon Taylor was an unused substitute after more than two months out with a knee injury, and he could figure for the first time since November 11.
Fellow midfielder Darren Potter continues his fight for fitness after an Achilles injury.
Portsmouth are set go into the game with the same squad that drew with Scunthorpe last Saturday.
Winger Gareth Evans is closing in on a comeback from a hamstring injury but the the trip to Yorkshire will come too soon.
Stuart O’Keefe has been ruled out for up to three months after hernia surgery and joins Milan Lalkovic (Achilles) and Danny Rose (leg) on the sidelines.
Portsmouth are likely to stick with the three-man defence they deployed against Scunthorpe, with right-back Nathan Thompson continuing in a holding midfield role.
