Man City hero Yaya Toure tells Ivory Coast: I'm ready to play again

Manchester City veteran Yaya Toure has announced he's coming out of international retirement.

Toure, who has 100 caps for the Ivory Coast, last represented Les Elephants in 2015.

But now Toure, 34, is looking to return to the team in a bid to win another trophy.

First, his agent Dimitri Seluk tweeted: "Yaya @YayaToure has decided to return to Ivory Coast national team. He wants to win another trophy with the Elephants of Ivory Coast."

Then, Toure himself confirmed on Twitter: "I love my country and am available for national team selection.

"I want to help the next generation and use my experience to make all Ivorians proud!!"
