Levante and Leganes share ill-tempered draw

Levante and Leganes shared two red cards but no goals as they fought to stalemate at Estadio Ciutat de Valencia.
It was a scrappy encounter which neither side deserved to win, with a total of 12 bookings far out-weighing the number of presentable chances on goal.
Leganes' midfielder Nordin Amrabat and Jose Campana of Levante picked up two cautions apiece and were dismissed in the 68th and 90th minutes respectively.
A point allowed the visitors to creep up to eighth in the table, ahead of Real Sociedad, Getafe, Eibar and Real Betis, while inching Levante five points above the relegation zone.
Campana headed one of the best chances of the game wide after only nine minutes, with Gerard Gumbau's volleyed effort drawing a rare save from home goalkeeper Oier Olazabal.
Amrabat's indiscipline allowed Levante a little over 20 minutes to press for a winner with a numerical advantage but they were blunted even before Campana's late red.
