Yeovil needed extra-time to beat nine-man Port Vale 3-2 in their FA Cup second-round replay.
Marcus Harness and Antony Kay goals twice levelled things for battling Vale after Otis Khan's double before Francois Zoko scored the winner.
The hosts took the lead in the second of four added minutes at the end of the first half when Cristian Montano clumsily brought down Tom James, was sent off, and Khan converted the penalty.
In the 54th minute the visitors were down to nine as James Gibbons was also shown a straight red card for a late challenge on Ryan Dickson, but despite the numerical disadvantage Vale equalised after 83 minutes when Harness netted from 20 yards.
So the game went into extra-time and Khan gave the Glovers the lead once again in the 95th minute but again they were pegged back by a strike from the edge of the box on 108 minutes, this time from Kay.
Just two minutes later Zoko finally put the Glovers into the third round when the striker touched in a James cross, setting up a clash with Bradford in the next round.
