Watch: Inter Milan's Version Of Jingle Bells Is Your New Favourite Christmas Song
Posted Friday, December 08, 2017 by thesportbible.com
When the worlds of football and music intertwine with one another, the results are...varied.
For every 'World In Motion', 'Three Lions' or 'Diamond Lights' there's that fucking atrocity James Corden released with Dizzee Rascal a few years back.
Oh, and then there's Andy Cole - Outstanding:
Still not sure how that was overlooked for a Mercury Prize.
Anyway, onto the latest pairing of football and music, which also comes complete with the added caveat of Christmas, which is always dangerous ground to be treading on.
However, it appears, much like the Serie A league table in the first half of the season, Internazionale have managed to boss the art of the perfect christmas song with their own version of 'Jingle Bells', creatively titled 'Inter Bells'.
The Milan giants have released the song and accompanying video on their official Youtube and social media channels, this afternoon and it is, quite frankly, fucking terrific. It deserves to be Christmas number one. For the next 10 years.
I don't mean to overstate anything here, but I can comfortably state that Inter's festive effort is better than those of The Pogues, Shakin' Stevens, John Lennon, Wham, Elton John, Mariah Carey, Greg Lake, David Essex and Chris DeBurgh combined. DO...NOT...FUCKING...@...ME.
almost 2,000 Instagram comments below Inter’s Christmas song video within an hour of it being posted. if publicity’s what they wanted they’re certainly getting it 😂⚫️🔵

2. Getting Spalletti.
3. Keeping Perisic.
4. Buying Skriniar.
5. Inter Bells.
Anyone who thinks these aren’t the top five things to happen @Inter since 2011 can fight me. 🤣
Not only do Inter's unbeaten, Serie A topping first team go headfirst into the tune with tree decoration, fairy lights and matching outfits, manager Luciano Spalletti also serves as conductor while club legend and 2010 treble winning captain Javier Zanetti and his lifelong haircut also get involved, opening the video up.
The video ends with a call to all Inter fans to attend next Saturday's home league game against Udinese and sing 'Inter Bells' in the stands and can you imagine anything more spectacular than the Curva Nord of the San Siro belting out "Oh what fun it is to sing your name at Christmas time, hey!" for 90 straight minutes? No you can't.
Make this song Christmas number one. If Rage Against The Machine can do it, so can Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic, Samir Handanovic and Yuto Nagatomo.
