Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reluctantly supported the decision to buy in next month's transfer market.
Since the end of last season, Ramos had lobbied both Real president Florentino Perez and coach Zinedine Zidane to not change the current Double winning squad.
However, as they've struggled this term, Ramos has come around to the need for reinforcing in January, says Diario Gol.
It was revealed today that Real chiefs, including Perez and GM Jose Angel Sanchez, had met and agreed to make January additions - potentially as much as three.
Ramos is happy with the news and has already given his approval to club officials that the mentioned Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan), Kepa Arrizabalaga (Athletic Bilbao) and a new centre-half would be welcome.
The captain would be supportive if Real managed to sign Chelsea defender David Luiz in January - or even waited until June to prise Lucas Hernandez away from Atletico Madrid.
