Joe Ward's late equaliser earned Vanarama National League side Woking a 1-1 draw with Peterborough in the second round of the FA Cup, with their Sky Bet League One opponents left hanging on in the closing stages.
Peterborough went ahead midway through the first half when Ryan Tafazolli was left with a simple finish after Nathan Baxter had denied Jack Marriott from Marcus Maddison's free-kick.
Woking missed a golden opportunity to equalise four minutes before half-time when Jonathan Bond saved Chez Isaac's penalty after Inih Effiong had been wrestled to the ground by Alex Penny.
But the Cards earned a replay with seven minutes left when Nathan Ralph's cross from the left was allowed to run for Ward, who kept his composure, bringing the ball down before firing past Bond.
Woking almost snatched it at the death, as Bond did brilliantly to keep out Kane Ferdinand's header before Ralph's over-hit cross hit the bar in stoppage time.
