Tony Mowbray planning to rotate Blackburn squad for Crewe clash

Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray is planning to rest a number of his first-choice players for Sunday's FA Cup second-round tie against Crewe.
Elliott Bennett, Marcus Antonsson and Richie Smallwood are among those that could sit out after playing four League One games in the space of 10 days.
Midfielder Craig Conway is pushing to return for the clash at Ewood Park after a hamstring injury.
Darragh Lenihan and Harry Chapman are both long-term absentees.
Crewe boss David Artell is hoping some of his injured players will be back in contention.
Michael Raynes (groin), Zoumana Bakayogo (ankle) and Tom Lowery (hamstring) are all making progress in their recoveries.
George Ray (back), James Jones (pelvis) and Ryan Wintle (fractured tibia), who this week signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract with the club, remain long-term absentees and will certainly miss out.
Ben Garratt, Jordan Bowery, Charlie Kirk and Josh Lundstram are options for Artell should he wish to rotate his squad, with important league games against Cheltenham, Crawley and Chesterfield coming up in December.
