KEVIN DE BRUYNE has been sensational for Manchester City, and that has reportedly attracted the interest of Real Madrid.

The Belgium superstar has been one of City’s standout performers this season.

City forked out £54million to sign De Bruyne from Wolfsburg in 2015 and he has established himself as one of Europe’s best midfielders.

And he has played an integral part in Pep Guardiola’s side taking an early eight-point lead in the Premier League table.

The 26-year-old has so far scored five goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions so far this season.

But Real Madrid have supposedly registered their interest in signing De Bruyne, according to City fan website City Watch.

The report claims the La Liga giants have informed De Bruyne’s representatives of their interest ahead of a possible bid.

The midfielder was informed of the interest from Zinedine Zidane’s side, but he is said to be content with life at the Etihad and will not seek a move away from the club.

It is suggested that De Bruyne is expected to pen a new lucrative deal with City to fend off potential suitors.

Paris Saint-Germain, who were beaten to De Bruyne’s signature by City in 2015, have maintained an interest in the player and want him to be a part of their ambitious plans.

De Bruyne will return to action for City this weekend when they face David Moyes’ West Ham on Sunday.
