Cristiano Ronaldo, Zidane and Real Madrid up for Globe Soccer Awards

The eighth edition of the Globe Soccer Awards will take place on December 28 and Real Madrid are the favourites to land most of the plaudits.
Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player, Zinedine Zidane as the best coach, and Los Blancos as the best club are just some of the nominees announced on Thursday.
In addition to Ronaldo there are six more players up for the best player award: Lionel Messi, Paulo Dybala, Gianluigi Buffon, Neymar, Sergio Ramos and Kylian Mbappe.
MARCA will have the honour of being the official media outlet of these awards.
As for the coaches, the four nominated are the aforementioned Zidane, Antonio Conte (Chelsea), Jose Mourinho (Manchester United) and Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus).
For their part, Monaco, Manchester United and Madrid are nominated for best club, while Jorge Mendes, Mino Raiola and Alessandro Lucci are in with a shout of being name the best agent of 2017.
