Nicky Clark salvages point for Dunfermline with late leveller

Nicky Clark rescued a point from a 2-2 draw with his late equaliser against Dumbarton at East End Park but promotion hopefuls Dunfermline are now winless in four attempts.
Dunfermline enjoyed the best opportunity of a drab first half, with visiting goalkeeper Scott Gallacher punching Fraser Aird's cross clear before Callum Smith could get his head to it.
It was Dumbarton who took the lead six minutes after the break, Tom Walsh drilling in for his second goal of the season.
The Pars reacted with urgency and Callum Morris quickly drew them level with a close-range finish.
Parity would not last long as, in the 68th minute, substitute Dimitris Froxylias curled a stunning effort into the top corner to boost Dumbarton towards back-to-back wins.
Dunfermline looked like shipping another goal but instead Clark arrived in the six-yard box to nod in Smith's chip for a leveller two minutes from time.
