Rakitic: I can't say 100% Messi staying with Barcelona

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic admits he's unsure if Lionel Messi will be staying next season.

Off contract in June, Messi's new deal remains unsigned despite terms having been settled for some months.

Rakitic, speaking ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League tie with Juventus, declared: "Messi is a part of the club. I cannot say 100% that he will stay. I know there are fans who want to see this picture (of the official signing). Me too.

"We want to have him with us. We enjoy a lot with him.

"Worried that he will not sign? I also read that and was told that everything was fine. We must leave him alone. He is the best player on our team. And I have 100% confidence in our president."
