The work of Real Madrid's charitable foundation in deprived areas around the world continued with a recent visit to Uruguay.
Their local partner in Montevideo paid a visit this week to the Colegio Cervantes in Uruguay's capital.
Mateo Figueroa of the charity travelled there and checked in to catch up on the social work that the school carried out with dozens of children, with football serving as the main tool for doing so.
"It is an honour to be involved in this kind of work with a place such as Cervantes," Figueroa said.
"It allows us to develop our social activities in Uruguay and children can learn values through sport.
"It is all about learning.
"They understand that, and with hard work anything is possible."
As part of this project, the Uruguayan children will visit Madrid in December to take in a Real Madrid game at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The Foundation is now celebrating a decade in existence in Uruguay.
