Accrington vs Guiseley - John Coleman to select big guns

Accrington boss John Coleman may well pick another strong team to face Guiseley when the clubs meet in Tuesday's FA Cup first-round replay at the Wham Stadium.

Coleman made only one change to his starting line-up for the original clash with the National League outfit, a 0-0 draw, and he has made it clear ahead of the replay that he is not taking anything for granted.

He told Accrington's official website: "We will be the favourites and some people may think it's a foregone conclusion and that they had their chance at home, but it doesn't happen like that, I know that."

A few players are battling knocks from high-flying Stanley's 0-0 League Two draw at Cambridge on Saturday but Coleman hopes everyone will recover to be in contention.

Guiseley will be without suspended captain Ash Palmer, who sits out a one-game ban following his dismissal in Saturday's home defeat to Bromley.

Manager Paul Cox has no new injury concerns and could to choose from an otherwise unchanged squad, although defender Danny Lowe, midfielder Callum McFadzean and striker Frank Mulhern are pushing for recalls.

Daniel East is recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, expected to keem him out for the season, and fellow defender Rob Atkinson (hamstring) is still out.

Cox has every incentive to pull off an upset as a second-round tie against his former club Mansfield awaits the winners.
