CHELSEA manager Antonio Conte’s interview following his side’s 3-0 defeat to Roma in the Champions League was very telling.

That’s according to world-famous body language expert Darren Stanton.
The Blues look nothing like the Premier League winning side of last season.
They are already nine points behind leaders Manchester City and their poor form has sparked reports that owner Roman Abramovich could sack the Italian.
The shambolic nature of the defeat to the Serie A side on Tuesday will only intensify the pressure on the 48-year-old and it appears the damaging loss had an effect on Conte, as shown by his post-match interview.
Speaking exclusively to Starsport, Darren – who has appeared on the likes of BBC’S The One Show and Good Morning Britain – said: “He speaks slow and laboured which is consistent with someone in an upset emotional state.
"When he's asked questions, notice how he moves his eyes in a certain direction for the answer.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte was visibly upset after the Roma defeat
"In psychology and body language, it has been discovered there is a relationship between the emotional state of the person and where they look for information.
"Looking down and right is accessing feelings and strong emotions – this is called kinaesthetic.
"I notice Conte spends most of the interview with his eyes in this position.”
Pundits such as Martin Keown have already claimed Conte has lost the players and that the club is in crisis.
And Conte’s seemingly negative expressions will surely have an impact on the dressing room.
Conte cut a frustrated figure on the touchline
"Also he flashes a micro expression of sadness,” Darren continued.
"His eyes turn downwards and the mouth is pulled down.
"Micro expressions are fleeting flashes of emotions lasting only fifth of a second.
"He is clearly feeling genuine sadness at the situation.”
